Beyond being exciting and fun, debate provides the avenue for students to develop critical, lifelong communication skills. Debate requires an ability to intellectually understand complex issues, research and gather information on an issue, analytically construct arguments, think clearly and critically, speak persuasively and refine the art of impromptu speaking. We will be discussing and debating the oceans resources and how these are shared around the world.
$45 for 3 Wednesday classes over 3 weeks (Dec. 5, 12, 19)
