Precision Fitness in Pawcatuck will be hosting a fundraiser now known as the “Turkey Tourney” on Saturday, November 17th at 3:00 pm. The St. Michael School Girls Basketball team will be the benefactor of the event, and participants of all ages and ability levels are encouraged to come out and compete for this cause.
The fundraising event will involve teams of five competing on five stations in the Precision Fitness gym. Each team will compete in at least two rounds of competition, a seed round and then single elimination moving forward. Awards will be given for the best dressed team, youngest cumulative age team, and most senior cumulative age team. The cost to register a team is $50 and business sponsorships are welcome at $150.
The St. Michael’s girls are fundraising to cover a number of expenses for their team this year, including: the purchase equipment for practices and games, transportation fees, referee costs, warm ups and travel bags, trophies and awards banquet night. The team will be at the November 17th fundraiser selling waters, Gatorade, T-Shirts, as well as competing in the event.
