The Award-winning Stonington High School Theatre Department proudly presents The Drowsy Chaperone a musical within a comedy, where a modern day musical theater enthusiast chases his blues away by playing his favorite 1920s musical album on his record player.  The musical springs to life in his living room telling the tale of a dazzling Broadway starlet, Janet Van DeGraff, who decides she wants to give up her glamour life to become a wife.  What Janet doesn't know is that her producer and chaperone have set up a plan to stop the nuptials.  Join us for an evening of fun when "Man in Chair" (Michael Toole) introduces us to a starlet (Jane Hefel), a despairing chaperone (Libby Hall), a greedy producer (Colby LaMarche), a debonair groom (Corey Candelet) a tap dancing best man (Jordan Auber), a dizzy flapper girl (Kaitlyn Morin), gangsters posing as pastry chefs (Ian Capozzoli and Jouval Mejias), a female aviator (Haley Barravecchia), a Latin lover (JayNieuwenhuis) and a cast of over 60 singers and dancing follies. "Finally, a musical about people who adore Musicals!"Advance Tickets are $10 for students and seniors and $12 for adults and can be purchased at Stonington High School main office 860-599-5781 or at the High School Auditorium Box Office Mon and Wed 6-8P and Sat 10A-noon.  Tickets at the door prior to each performance are $12 for students and seniors and $14 for adults.  Premium seats are available for $25.00 and come with a cast photograph and concession voucher and best of all no waiting in line!Show times:  7:30PM Friday, March 15th, 2:30PM and 7:30PM Saturday, March 16th and 2:30 Sunday, March 17th
