Weird Science at Mystic Aquarium

Mystic Aquarium presents “Weird Science” Saturday, Feb. 16 through Sunday, Feb. 24 during school vacation week. Children’s curiosity comes alive as they witness weird and wonderful science demonstrations by Mystic Aquarium educators and special presentations by Keith Michael Johnson’s Bubbleology and Mad Science of Eastern Connecticut.

Keith Michael Johnson’s Bubbleology kicks off “Weird Science” on Saturday, Feb. 16. For one day only, guests can explore the secret world of bubbles with state-of-the-art bubble sculptures and discover how bubbles work, what bubbles can do and how to conduct bubble experiments at home.

Mad Science of Southeastern Connecticut’s daily, spellbinding presentations introduce children to the principles of air and pressure with hot air balloons, vortex generators and a hovercraft.
