Mystic Garden Club
announced the chairs of the annual greens sale held at Mystic Arts Center on
December 6 and 7.

The event is the premier Mystic
Christmas shopping experience. Shoppers from as far as New York come to the
event to buy gorgeous hand-made wreaths and decorations, table top
arrangements, ornaments and more. All items are created by garden club members
through workshops that begin in September.

The Greens Sale has been running since
1966, and it is the major fundraiser for the club. It began as a small event to
raise a few dollars for the community, and it has evolved into a huge event
that raises over $40,000 annually. Money raised goes directly back into the
community funding such organizations as the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center,
the Mystic Art Center and several other organizations.

Co-chairs of the
event are Barbara Rousseau and Missy Evans.
