One Book, One Region Discussion @ the MNL

The Mystic & Noank Library will hold an open discussion about the book, “Little Princes,” by Conor Grennan on Wednesday, July 31 at 7:00 p.m. at the Library.  Educator Gail Turgeon will lead the discussion.

“Little Princes: One Man’s Promise to Bring Home the Lost Children of Nepal” is a true story of a young man, Conor Grennan, who volunteered at an orphanage in Nepal. But the orphanage was in reality filled with trafficked children, not orphans. Grennan made it his mission to return the children to their families and founded Next Generation Nepal.

One Book, One Region is a program supported by libraries and bookstores in eastern Connecticut with sponsorship from the Center for the Book, a Connecticut Humanities program.

The discussion is free and open to all who have read the book. Multiple copies are available at the Library. For more information, call(860) 536-7721 or email mnl@juno.com.
