The Noank-Mystic Community Band: Spring Concert

The Noank-Mystic Community Band presents their spring concert on April 11th at 7pm at the Groton City Municipal Building, featuring former U.S. Coast Guard conductor Lewis J. Buckley, who will conduct one of his pieces and will perform with the band on his own arrangement of "The Carnival of Venice." The band's repertoire includes some very difficult music, such as the "Pineapple Poll Suite" from the comic ballet.  Free refreshments will be available at intermission.
