Holiday Food & Toy Drive Open House

The Old Mystic Fire Department will be holding its annual Food and Toy Drive from now until December 5, 2011 to help support the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center and the Town of Groton Department of Human Services.  This is an excellent chance to make a difference in the lives of many as well as making a significant impact on our community.  The food and funds we raise will help these organizations provide the necessities for a happy holiday season for many families in the area.

Items can be dropped off at 4 locations around town:  OMFD Headquarters (295 Cow Hill Road, Mystic), OMFD Station 1 (21 North Stonington Road, Mystic), Old Mystic General Store (47 Main Street, Mystic) and McQuade’s Market (14 Clara Drive, Mystic).  The food drive will culminate on Saturday, November 5, 2011, with an Open House at the Old Mystic Fire Department Headquarters, 295 Cow Hill Road, Mystic.

The toy collection will continue through Thanksgiving and end on December 5, 2011.
