Human Services Seeking Names for Boot Program
Do you know a child who needs new winter boots? Nov. 15 is the deadline to submit a name.
No kids with cold wet feet this winter. Not if Stonington Human Services can help it.
Human Services is currently accepting names of children for the 2013 Santa Anonymous Boot Program. The program, sponsored in part by Thames Valley Council for Community Action’s Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), provides new winter boots to eligible Stonington children.
Children must be signed up by Friday, November 15 in order to be guaranteed to receive a new pair of boots. Please contact Stonington Human Services at 860-535-5015 for more information, or if you would like to be a sponsor and help a child receive a new pair of warm, winter boots.
