Current American Students Are China's Future Coolies

"Coolie"-A worker who performs menial and arduous labor at the lowest of wages.

In my last Blog, I commented on the fact that CAPT scores are a means of setting in place a two tier labor pool for Corporate Interests. Those students in the white suburban elite communities who naturally score high on a test designed for them to do so will ascend to professional and managerial  positions in the future. Their Bosses will be Corporations with Offices in the U.S. and sources of production overseas. Nice Gig if you are born in to it or are the rare gifted few who test score their way in !

What will happen to the students who are not so fortunate ?....

In days of yore, America manufactured at home almost all that was bought at home. Simply put, all that was sold to American consumers was made by American consumers. A bonus was that we manufactured more product than was needed in the U.S. and that was sold to other nations. How that has changed!

Let's use two items that we can all agree on as crucial to an economy to see what has happened - Steel and Printed Circuit Boards. Can't manufacture much without those can we?

Fact: Despite the superior quality of American Steel, despite the skill set of the American worker to produce one ton of steel  by two-man hours of work, despite still having the world's greatest supply of the natural resources needed to make steel - The U.S. now depends on inferior Chinese Steel, at a production rate of one ton per twelve man hours work, the majority of which we buy from them in the form of finished products!

Fact:Printed Circuit Boards used to be as American as Apple Pie - invented in the U.S. - Made in the U.S. - Installed in products made in the U.S. that were in turn sold in the U.S. and to the rest of the world  - 90% of all Printed Circuit Boards are now made in Asia , installed in products made overseas ,that are in turn sold to Americans.

Those two cited items alone tell you what has happened to American Manufacturing - it has been sold out from under us and sent overseas for Corporate ( think 1%s) profit.

Do we still export much? Sure, try this on for size - we are the #1 exporter of WASTE PAPER ! Sent out over 500,000 shipping containers last year on Chinese owned fleets. Meanwhile, WALMART took in  over 700,000 shipping containers via foreign fleets of products made overseas to be sold to U.S. consumers. Thanks, Sam, you are a true Patriot !

The death by Corporate executioner of American Manufacturing ( 51,000+ factories closed since 2002 - over 100,000 presently considered at risk of closing) will most greviously impact the overwhelming number of American students who in years past would have found jobs,careers,and security in those factories. What will they do now ???

End Point and Answer: Anything our soon to be Economic Masters China want them to do! Unless the American worker takes back the right to work in our own Nation,producing quality products for a fair wage that are sold here and exported elsewhere, the future of our majority of students is bleak. CAPT scores are the least of our worries.
