Spirit Blessings

My mom loved Christmas so much & this year I decided it was time to love it again too. So with some trepidation & expectations of grief or bittersweet memories, I opened her box of ornaments to decorate my little tree. All I found was beauty, love~ connection~ my mom's Spirit had infused the ornaments with her love.  When the ones from her childhood became tattered with time, she would bring them new life by painting on wreathes, flowers, lights or trees. I spent the day soaking in my mom's Spirit & love of the coming holiday. As I was sharing my experience with a friend, the simple truth hit me~ I am infused with my mom's Spirit~ I am the living embodiment of her love, blessed through all of her actions, words & hugs in my life. Her Spirit continues to renew my heart when it's getting a bit tattered, as her love lives on through me.~ May this holiday season gift you with Spirit Blessings of your own!
