Alana Hanka, 8, is very excited to be in the movie Great Hope Springs starring Meryl Streep. She’s also a bit a nervous but who wouldn’t be?
“I hope I get to talk,” Alana said.
Alana and her dog, Rufus, who has a blog on The Day and his own Facebook page, will be in the movie today. Alana said her grandfather sent in photographs of her and Rufus and the casting people wanted them to be in the background.
“I’m nervous, I’ve never been in a movie before,” Alana said.
