Butterfly House Getting Ready for Butterflies
The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center has had a Native Butterfly House since 2010.
The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center’s Native Butterfly House is being prepped for a new season of butterflies. Two of our educators, Amy Stich and Suzanne Burns, have been hard at work clearing the overgrowth and planting new plants to support the butterflies.
First opened in 2010, the Native Butterfly House will be home to more than 100 butterflies within the next few weeks. Stay tuned to our Facebook page and website for details.
