Parking in . Add in construction from the drawbridge and the streetscape project and finding a spot can be frustrating for even the most . And some people according to the Groton Town Council think the streetscape project is causing the area to permanently lose parking spots.
“Some people say we’re losing a lot of parking and wouldn’t it be lovely to have a water bus,” Groton Town Counciler Dean Antipas said at a Groton Town Council meeting attended by the Stonington Board of Selectman.
Antipas would like to see a connect the two sides of Mystic so that once people are parked they could easily get around the area. The idea was briefly discussed with no decisions made at the meeting, but we want to know what you think.
