It’s funny, but I find this to be the least engaging part of the show, the live performances and the ‘America votes’ and the ousters. I like the coaching.

“Jess invites her divorced parents to Thanksgiving dinner and schemes to get them back together; Schmidt and his visiting cousin compete to prove their manhood.” I love the Schmidt idea. Like Festivus, only better.
