Your Take: Have You Fully Recovered From Hurricane Sandy?

Four-and-a-half months after Hurricane Sandy ripped up the Eastern Seaboard and devastated enormous swaths of New York, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut, signs of the damage remain everywhere.

As Daylight Saving Time this weekend reminded us, summer is right around the corner. Have you finished needed repairs from Sandy? Has your community? Did you apply for help from FEMA, or your insurance company?

What's your take? Are you — and is Connecticut — recovered from Hurricane Sandy? What more needs to be done?

I agree. The bottom line is we're all defenseless if we are deprived of our right to bear arms. GunRead More restrictions do nothing to prevent criminals from getting and using guns. They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
