Updated: Two More Burglaries Reported in Pawcatuck

Police are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact them.

3:10 p.m.: Two more burglaries were reported to Stonington Police today. According to Captain Jerry Desmond those two burglaries are in addition to the one that was reported on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, and the four that were reported last week.

All of the burglaries occurred in the Pawcatuck section of town and all of the homes were unoccupied at the time. Forced entry was used, Desmond said. The latest burglaries occurred in the Pawcatuck Middle School section of Pawcatuck and also in the Liberty Street area.

"We are investigating these burglaries and will have extra patrol out in the area over the near future," Desmond said.

Police are asking anyone that saw anything suspicious to contact the police department at 860-599-4411 and ask to speak to a supervisor.

11:28 a.m.: The Stonington Police Department is investigating another report of a burglary in Pawcatuck. Captain Jerry Desmond said the burglary was reported on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013. He said police are investigating and looking to see if it is connected to four burglaries that occurred last week.

On Thursday, Jan. 24, Stonington Police sent out an alert saying four burglaries were reported in a 24-hour time period. Those burglaries occurred in the area around Courtland Street, Field Street and Lathrop Avenue.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the department at 860-599-4411 and ask to speak to a supervisor

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
