There is a job opportunity at the Stonington Police Department. According to a notice posted on the Town of Stonington website, the police department is looking to hire a communications specialist.

Applications for the position are due by March 8, 2013 at 4 p.m. Those interested in applying should stop by the police department for an application. The application process, according to the notice, includes a written, practical and an oral board test and a background check. And before employment physical and psychological tests will be required.

Qualifications for the position include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and computer skills.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
