Memorial Day Weekend Traffic Alert

The Stonington Police Department issued a traffic alert for Memorial Day weekend.

 

The issued the following taffic alert:

Dear Residents and Businesses:

Be advised that on Monday, May 28, 2012, there will be two Memorial Day Parades going on in Stonington that might cause delays in traffic. One in the morning in Pawcatuck, beginning at  9:30 a.m. and one in Mystic in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m.. Both Parades will affect Rt#1 for the duration of the parades and shortly after their conclusions. In addition, there will be a road race in Mystic at the YMCA going down to Mason’s Island and back.

I agree. The bottom line is we're all defenseless if we are deprived of our right to bear arms. GunRead More restrictions do nothing to prevent criminals from getting and using guns. They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
