Middle School Student Approached By Stranger
School superintendent tells parents student was approached on Route 184 in Old Mystic; police are investigating
Superintendent Leanne Masterjoseph sent a telephone alert to parents at 4 this afternoon saying that a Mystic Middle School student reported being approached by a stranger in Old Mystic.
Masterjoseph said the student was approached by a man driving a blue mini-van on Route 184 in Old Mystic. A more specific location was not provided.
She said the man asked the student a question about his identity. The student "became concerned," Masterjoseph said, and reported what happened to his family.
