A Mystic restaurant failed a compliance check by Groton Police Saturday and agreed to sell alcohol to minors, according to a news release.
The checks were conducted by members of the Groton Town and City Police Departments, in conjunction with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection’s Liquor Control Division and the Governor’s Prevention Partnership.
Police checked 18 stores that sell alcohol and 9 establishments where drinking is permitted.
The stores cited for selling alcoholic beverages to minors, according to police were:
- Midi Mart, 944 Rte 12, Groton

- , 931 Poquonnock Road, Groton
- Grape Vine, 766 Long Hill Rd., Groton
- s, 116 North St., Groton
- , 179 Bridge St., Groton
The bars or restaurants cited for selling alcoholic beverages to minors, according to police were:
