7:08 p.m.: A sailboat ran aground near Sandy Point after a rope got caught in its propeller Thursday evening. The people aboard were reported to be fine. According to Mystic Fire Department Assistant Chief Tony Manfredi the people were waiting for the tide to come up to sail off.

It wasn't clear if the boat had a stalled engine, but according to the U.S.C.G. the vessel was not in distress.
