Connecticut State Police have confirmed that Debra Denison is in possession of a .38-caliber gun and left a suicide note after picking up her grandchildren, ages 2 and 6 months, from day care.

Connecticut State Police at Troop E in Montville confirmed for Patch that an Amber Alert has been issued for two-year-old boy and a 6-month-old boy picked up by their grandmother, Debra Denison, from a day-care facility in North Stonington.

Police confirmed they are looking for a 2001 White Chrysler Minivan with a CT registration of 445ZAZ. Police said Denison is in possession of a .38-caliber pistol and left a suicide note.

According to the Amber Alert 6-month-old Ashton Perry "...was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a brown aviation jacket with a fur collar." Alton Perry, 2, "...was last seen wearing a white checkered plaid shirt, dark blue jeans, brown boots, and a brown jacket."
