Board of Selectmen Commends WBLQ

Chris DiPaola of WBLQ in Westerly honored for his work during Hurricane Sandy.

During Hurricane Sandy Chris DiPaola and WBLQ of Westerly provided the area with nonstop coverage of the storm. On Wednesday, the Town of Stonington recognized DiPaola's work with an offical commendation.

"You've been a terrific resource in keeping everyone safe," First Selectman Ed Haberek said.
