What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
With so many women senior citizens in the borough, there should be a representative on our local governing body. I am long past my term of office on the Borough Zoning Board of Appeals, which I would relinquish, but I still wish to serve the community in some capacity.
What will be your single most important priority if you get elected? Completion of the landscaping for the beautifully restored cannons at Cannon Square. In the interest of full disclosure my husband Robert Abramson is the engineering project manager for the restoration of the cannons but not the landscaping.
How long have you lived in the borough?
23 years.
What’s your favorite thing about the borough?
The ability to walk to so many places including the library, church, stores, and restaurants.
Where do you work and what is your job title?
Retired from Western Union.
What’s been the biggest success of the borough government over the past two years?
The restoration of the cannons in Cannon Square.
What’s been the biggest failure?
The incompletion of the landscaping in Cannon Square and the establishment of a maintenance schedule for the cannons.
