Borough Election Is Monday

Polls are open 6 a.m., to 8 p.m. Vote at the Borough Firehouse, 100 Main St.

The Borough of Stonington's election is Monday, although the top spot in the village has already been decided.

Warden Paul Burgess is not running for a second term, and Jeffrey Callahan has been endorsed by both the Republican and Democratic parties.

The polls are open from 6 a.m., to 8 p.m., at the Borough Firehouse, 100 Main St.

Here are the candidates, according to the borough website:

Burgesses:  

  • Robert Scala (D) (incumbent)
  • Amy G. Nicholas (D) (incumbent)
  • Michael Adair (R) (incumbent)
  • Michael Blair (R)
  • Howard Park (R) (incumbent)

Clerk-Treasurer:  
Brian Krafjack (R) - also endorsed by Democratic Party (incumbent)  

Tax Collector:  
Tom Sanford (R) - also endorsed by Democratic Party (incumbent)

Assessor:  
Lisa Coleman (D) (incumbent)
