Paving On West Main Begins Today; Downtown Mystic Businesses Are Open

The Groton Town Police Department has issued a temporary no parking order, however, there is free parking at the Mystic Arts Center Parking Lot.

 

Work on the downtown Mystic Streetscape Project continues today with paving scheduled for West Main Street and parts of the surroudning side streets. A temporary no parking order will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m., but there is free parking at the .

The Town of Groton Police Department announces the issuance of a Temporary No Parking Order, for Friday, June 29 2012, in downtown Mystic. The Temporary No Parking Order is in conjunction with the paving on West Main Street and portions of surrounding streets. All downtown businesses will be accessible during this road paving.

The Temporary No Parking Order will be effective from 4:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012, until 8:00 p.m., and covers West Main Street from the Drawbridge to High Street and portions of Bank Street, Pearl Street, Gravel Street and Water Street.

All traffic should expect delays throughout the downtown Mystic area. Free Public Parking up to five (5) hours is available at the Mystic Art Association Lot.
