Poll: Should Stonington Join The Ledge Light Health District?

The town of Stonington and , are asking for residents' help in deciding whether to join the Ledge Light Health District. 

The Mystic River Press reported Monday that Stonington is considering joining the Ledge Light Health District. The district, which includes New London, Groton, Waterford, Ledyard and East Lyme, would offer Stonington the benefits of a bigger health staff, but would also charge restaurants a higher licensing fee.

Haberek told the Mystic River Press that, “learning how residents feel about joining the Ledge Light Health District will help him make his ultimate decision.”
