Money is tight, right? If you've got kids like I do, then you're probably looking for something to do as a family that's fun and doesn't cost any money. Well, where else can you climb a rock wall or an inflatable obstacle course, jump in a bounce house, get your kid's face painted, participate in a raffle with goodies from local merchants, hear live music and play some fun games without paying a dime?
For the 7th straight year, our church will host a Harvest Festival on our grounds next Saturday October 13th from 12 to 4 p.m. Lighthouse Community Baptist Church is located at 22 Pequot Trail in Pawcatuck.
Over the past few years, hundreds of people throughout the area have come to enjoy our family-friendly event. As a church full of young families, we offer this event as a gift to the community.
At the event, we will accept donations to our Benevolence Ministry. Any canned or dry goods you bring will help feed people during the holiday season. In addition, any financial donations given toward the food and beverages at the event will go toward providing financial assistance to people who are in need.
