The West Vine-West Broad Street School PTO is sponsoring a back to school pasta dinner on Friday, September 21 to raise funds for field trips and enrichment programs for the children in kindergarten- fourth grade at the Pawcatuck elementary schools.   You’ll get hearty helpings of pasta and meatballs, salad and dessert at this inaugural benefit event.


The dinner will take place at the Westerly Elks Club, starting at 5:30 p.m; dinner will be served until 8:00 pm.  Tickets are $10 at the door, $5 for school-aged children and 4 years-old and under are free of charge.  A drawing will round out the event, featuring donated prizes from generous local businesses.

I agree. The bottom line is we're all defenseless if we are deprived of our right to bear arms. GunRead More restrictions do nothing to prevent criminals from getting and using guns. They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
