This message is from Van Riley, Superintendent of Stonington Public Schools with two important messages.
First, our local utility company does not expect power to be fully restored for at least a few days. Therefore all public schools will be closed Thursday and Friday and are scheduled to reopen on Monday, November 5.
Second, we had scheduled a non-student professional development day for Tuesday, November 6th. However we are cancelling the professional development and will hold school on Tuesday.
So please plan on regular school times for Monday and Tuesday.
No School Thursday or Friday; Plan On School Monday And Tuesday
Due to the loss of power from Hurricane Sandy, Stonington Public Schools will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
