SHS First Semester Exams Begin Tomorrow

First semester exams will take place from Tuesday, January 22 to Friday, January 25.

First semester examinations for students atStonington High School will be administered beginning on Tuesday, January 22 through Friday, January 25. The schedule of exams on these days is

  • BLOCK ONE 7:30 - 9 a.m.
  • BLOCK TWO 9:30 - 11 a.m.
  • BLOCK THREE 12:30 - 2 p.m.

During these days the morning buses will operate as usual. Starting on Jan. 22, 2013 special bus runs on all routes will leave the high school at 11:07 a.m. to take students home from morning examinations. On these special runs students who have afternoon examinations will also be picked up at the regular bus stops.

Breakfast will be available in the cafeteria from 7 to 10 a.m. Lunch will not be served during exam week. At the conclusion of the afternoon exams, buses will leave school at 2 p.m. No late buses run on semester examination days.

I agree. The bottom line is we're all defenseless if we are deprived of our right to bear arms. GunRead More restrictions do nothing to prevent criminals from getting and using guns. They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
