SHS Senior Lauren Hultgren Signs With Drexel
The SHS honor student and scholarship athlete signed a letter of intent with Drexel University to be a Dragon!
Candice Webb, one of Lauren Hultgren's Stonington High School crew coaches, was beaming with pride when she told Patch the SHS senior was being signed by Drexel University. Webb, herself a former SHS rower and Drexel alum, said "everyone is so proud of her."
Hultgren signed a letter of intent to attend the Philadelphia-based university this week. A story in the Mystic River Press noted that Hultgren is an honor student, second-boat varsity crew member, state field hockey champion and NCAA Division I scholarship athlete.
