Stonington High School Student to Attend World Leadership Congress

The HOBY Leadership Seminar focuses on providing outstanding high school students with an opportunity to learn how to lead and make a difference.

A press release from Stonington High School:

Margot Calmar (’15) has been selected to attend the 2013 Hugh O’Brien Youth (HOBY) state leadership seminar.

The HOBY Leadership Seminar focuses on providing outstanding high school students with an opportunity to learn how to lead and make a difference.  Margot will have an unforgettable experience and develop leadership skills which will serve her long into the future.

The HOBY mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service and innovation.  Every year over 9,000 deserving high school sophomores from across the country are chosen to participate in HOBY Leadership Seminars.  HOBY programs continue to evolve and teach high school students social responsibility, how they can make a difference and what it means to be a global citizen.

Congratulations Margot!
