Stonington Schools Will Have a 90-Minute Delay Tuesday

Potential for icy road conditions Tuesday morning causes Stonington Public Schools to announce a 90-minute late schedule for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 12.

Stonington Public Schools have a 90-minute delay on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.

In an email to the school community Superintendent of Stonington Public Schools Van Riley said that "due to the potential of dangerous icy road conditions in the early morning, the district will be on a 90 minute late start schedule for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 12."

Parent conferences at the middle schools have also been postponed.

The opening schedule will be as follows:

High school starts at 9 a.m., ends at 2 p.m.

Middle schools start at 9:40 a.m., end at 2:40 p.m.

Elementary schools start at 10:25 a.m., end at 3:25 p.m.

AM Kindergarten starts at 10:25 a.m., ends at 12:12 p.m.

PM Kindergarten starts at 12:25 p.m., ends at 3:25 p.m.

AM Pre-School: no school

PM Pre-School starts at 12:25 p.m., ends at 3:25 p.m.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
