Two Stonington Students Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists

Lindsay Gimple and Audrey Jones have been named as Semifinalists in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Congratulations to Stonington High School students Lindsay Gimple and Audrey Jones. The two Pawcatuck residents are among 16,000 students named as semifinalists in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship.

As semifinalists Gimple and Jones will have a chance to compete to become finalists and Merit Scholar designees. With a school official they will submit a scholarship application, which includes a self-descriptive essay and information about the their participation and leadership in school and community activities.

Every finalist competes for one of 2,500 National Merit $2,500 Scholarships. The 2013 Merit Scholarship winners will be announced between April and July.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
