Two Very Different Musical Offerings in Stonington on Saturday

Music from the early 19th century at The Old Lighthouse Museum. Jazz performed by local musicians at La Grua.

The Stonington Historical's "The Battle of Stonington Commemoration Family Picnic" included songs from the War of 1812.  Attendees also learned about the muskets used in The Battle of Stonington. There were period games and baked goods made from recipes of that period.

La Grua's "Music Matters" program included summer songs presented by four local jazz performers, Phred Mileski, Peter Emanual, Jim Hunter and Che' Cartafalsa.
