The Stonington High School Bearathon Road Race will be held this Memorial Day, Monday May 28th at 10:00am.  The race will begin at the Mystic YMCA and loop around Mason’s Island.  It will also be timed by SNERRO and is endorsed by USA Track and Field.  All proceeds from the race will benefit the Classes of 2013 and 2015, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Pawcatuck VFW in honor of Memorial Day. The cost of registration is $15 before race day and $20 on race day. The race is open to runners and walkers. The first 50 registrants will receive a free Bearathon T-shirt.

Those interested should visit the Stonington High School website at www.stoningtonhigh.org. There is a Bearathon link on the homepage that connects to the race website. Race registration forms can be downloaded from the website and either mailed to Stonington High School or dropped off at the main office. Pre-registration forms must be received before May 25th. After this date, runners/walkers will need to register on race day. Race day registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Mystic YMCA.

We hope to see you on race day!
