Raising Haiti is holding their 2nd Annual Fun Run & Charity Walk on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at McCook Point Park in Niantic, CT. The event will include a 5k run race and a 1-mile walk along the beautiful shoreline. The run and walk will both begin at 9 a.m.
You can register for the 5k or walk at http://www.raisinghaiti.com/Events.html or at the park on the day of the event. Registration is $15 and that includes a Raising Haiti T-shirt. All proceeds will go toward funding medical clinics in Haiti. Racers will be treated to snacks and music from Parties by Lee throughout the day.
