Chefs from two of the area’s farm-to-table restaurants competed in the Sixth Annual "Iron Chef" Competition & Auction for Action on Friday, August 17. Jennifer Backman of Watch Hill’s Ocean House and David Awad of Mystic’s faced off for the title of the 2012 "Iron Chef." The competition and auction benefited the Mystic Area Shelter & Hospitality (MASH).

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
