The 5th annual MASH fundraiser, Iron Chef Competition And Auction was held at last friday. The event, which spanned both indoor and out held both live and silent auctions to raise money for the support of local families facing homelessness.
With plenty of wine and food, the backdrop to the event was unparalleled with the vines' mossy green primary leaves emerging and the cast of sun setting on the surrounding wetlands. Fresh Oyster shucking was dontated complements of along with numerous donations from other organizations including Jonathan Edwards and Saltwater Farm Vineyards. Auction items included a $10,000 value coctail party at the Ocean House, chefs Linda Moran and Gwenivere Lyon as personal chefs for an evening and original paintings by various artists.
