Tuesday: Looking for a way to support the Terry Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation? Come to the Twisted Vine in downtown Westerly Tuesday night starting at 5:30 p.m. for Pink Ladies Night, complete with live music. Twisted Vine is donating 10% of proceeds to the foundation.
Wednesday: The Mystic River Historical Society is offering a discussion by historian Norman Brouwer on Nautical Folk Art at 7:30 p.m. at Mystic Congregational Church's parish hall. Brouwer’s talk will focus on art created by seamen on commercial sailing vessels from the late-18th century to the early 20th.
Friday: Explore the Hempsted House, New London's oldest house, by candlelight. Hear about colonial myths and superstitions, and enjoy refreshments of the season. Not recommended for young children. $5/person or $10/family; free for CT Landmarks members.
