Tuesday: The Housing Authority meets at 4 p.m. in the Edythe K. Richmond community room on Sisk Drive in Pawcatuck; K-12 Bldg. Committee (Special Meeting) at 4:30 p.m. in the School Admin Central Office on North Stonington Road; Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 7 p.m. in the Police Station; the K-12 Bldg. Committee at 7 p.m. is cancelled.
Thursday: The Bd. of Police Commissioners meets at 5 p.m. at the Police Station; Bd. of Education meets at 7 p.m. at Stonington High School Commons; Economic Dev. Comm. meets at 7 p.m. in the Human Services Building; Old Mystic Fire District Bd. of Directors meets at 7:30 p.m. at 295 Cow Hill Road.

Tuesday: The Mystic & Noank Library is presenting a series of discussions on different topics relating to divorce from the woman’s perspective and tonight’s discussion is about navigating parenthood after divorce. Wednesday: The Westerly Public Library will host the Pawcatuck Valley Coin Club tonight at 6:30. Have you ever wanted to buy gold or silver but know how to go about it? This is your chance to learn. The members of the Coin Club will be giving a free introductory seminar on how to buy precious metal for physical possession.
Thursday: Sign up for a seat to hear an inspirational speaker Eileen Kaplan, author of “Laughter is the Breast Medicine” at The Pink Mermaid at 1 p.m. today. She has spoken with humor and heart on making the lifestyle changes necessary for coping with cancer.
