Photos: New Artists Opening At The Velvet Mill Gallery
The exhibition was well attended, and more of these evenings are planned. The next event is: "Fusion- an event to awaken all of the senses!"
It was a fine and pleasant evening at the last Friday, April 20. The New Artists Opening event was primarily an opportunity for the public to view and admire an exhibition featuring the art and works of new artists and tenants at the Mill.
With the backdrop of the mellow voice of Phil Newlyn on guitar attendees and artists mingled and chatted, munched on yummy appetizers and partook of fine beverages whilst discussing and admiring paintings, sculptures, screen prints, pottery and rugs.
The exhibition was well attended, and more of these evenings are planned. The "New to the Mill" artists and designers included Eileen Young, Annie Wildey, Rosemary Webber, Tressa Gillilard, Morgan King, Larry Fusaro, Doc Kenney, Brain Jacobs, and Veronica Triplett.
