This is one of those can't miss local destinations that really help to define what makes Mystic unique. Clyde's is the oldest steam powered cider mill in the United States and a National Historic landmark. Even if the place were inoperable and just another museum, it would still be worth a visit. But what makes Clyde's special is that after 129 years, it is still going strong and producing delicious cider, hard cider, apple wines and many other curious and tasty items.
