Invasive Species of Fishers Island Sound (The Colonists brought over what?!?) - NESS Adult Marine Science

Class III: Invasive Species of Fishers Island Sound (The Colonists brought over what?!?)
Sunday, November 17th from 12:30-2:30 pm.

Discuss the European Colonists and what organisms may have tagged along. In present day, a new invasive species arrives into our local marine environment every year.  Confer the implications of these invasions and factors like ocean currents, human impacts, resource availability, predation, and climate changes that may be causing this chain of events.  Look at specimens as well as our docks looking for invasive evidence using an underwater camera.
