Assume that the police confiscate ALL THE GUNS from LEGAL citizens with official gun permits. Do you believe that anything will change with these statistics? Criminals, gang members, drug dealers, street thugs do not go to Walmart or Dick's Sporting Goods to buy their firearms. My grandmother lived during Prohibition. Beer, Hard Liquor and wine were banned by the U.S. Government. My grandmother said that if you had money or if you had power, than you would be able to get alcohol anywhere during Prohibition. You can make marijuana, guns or alcohol illegal, but people will still be able to get it.
