Bury doesn’t give up once he starts building something. The Lego Tower Bridge  took five days, but he finished it. He’s also proud of his log handler.

“It had a pneumatic arm, switches, and pistons that all worked,” Bury said.

Another favorite is a “fully working crane” made at Pine Point Lego Camp. It moved, the hook went up and down so it could actually lift things – but in the challenge it failed.

“We couldn’t get the sling around the polar bear, but that wasn’t the crane’s fault!” Bury said.

“I really like technology—all technology, even the old things,” Bury said.

He has 46 apps on his iPod and knows how to use them all. When he gets bored with one, he learns another.

Bury does well in school. He got extremely high marks in all subjects when he took the CMTs. His favorite part of school is the May Junes (fifth and sixth graders who work and do projects together). Being a Cricket (seven and eighth graders who work together) will be “even more exciting,” Bury said.

“The Crickets made real shelters in the forest,” Bury said.

His sound unit at school is just starting to make instruments. Bury, who plays the trumpet, is looking forward to make an electric guitar.

“I  have no idea how I’m going to do it, but I know somehow someway I will,” Bury said.
