Battle of Stonington, Historical Trips, iConnected

1. The 5K kicks off at 6:15 p.m. at Wadawancuk Square. The Kids K starts at 6 p.m. The event benefits the Stonington Free Library.

2. The Mystic River Historical Society is taking reservations for the to Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The October trip is a one-night bus trip to several historic sites.

3. Today's luncheon with Abigail Sullivan Moore, author of The iConnected Parent, at has been postponed. Moore’s book, according to Bank Square Books's website, offers advice for parents on staying connected to their children while allowing them to become independent. The luncheon will be held September 21 at noon. Call Bank Square Books at 860-536-3795 for reservations.
