“We will be having a contest,” said Debbie Papp, whose husband John Papp is one of the co-owners of Noah’s. “All are invited to vote for their favorite decorated lobster. They will be numbered and there will be a ballot box in the front of the restaurant.”

Noah’s is inviting anyone to vote on the lobsters even if they are not customers. The only people not allowed to vote are the movie crew. The crew, their friends and family created the 57 lobsters as props for Noah’s role in the film as Nor’easter diner. And the winner of the most voted for lobster will get a prize from Noah’s.

“We thought this would be a lot of fun and also allow the Borough and our customers to participate in some of the fun and excitement,” Papp said.

On Tuesday, filming of Great Hope Springs Noah’s closed for the day. Chef Linda Moran cooked breakfast and lunch for the filming and waitresses Lisa Coleman and Melissa Wilson were in some of the scenes.

Papp said it was an exciting and fun day but also a long and tiring one.

“The crew and helpers and cast were all wonderful people,” Papp said.

Stop by Noah’s Restaurant when they open at 7:45 a.m., vote for your favorite lobster and maybe even have some breakfast. And don’t forget to tell Patch either in the comments or by posting a photo which lobster you fell in love with.
